It has been quite awhile since I’ve made a post, let alone released a new art print, but I’m super excited to be releasing my latest print. “Raccoon” is a 14×18, 5 color screen print, plus a spot varnish and is printed on Coventry Rag 290 gsm 100% cotton. Our friends over at the BLDG did an excellent job printing these guys. All prints are signed and numbered with a limited edition of 55. They go up for sale at 8am Tuesday, July 15th. Thanks for the support!
I’m very excited to have teamed up with Neltner Small Batch again for another print release. We will be releasing our latest print in celebration of the tapping of Arnold’s 1861 Porter Friday, March 22 at Cincinnati’s own Arnold’s Bar and Grill. Signed and numbered with an edition of 50, these 12×16, 3 color screen prints were printed by the fine folks at the BLDG with the copy provided by Mr. Jeff Chambers. These will be available online Monday, March 25.
We were very honored to be asked by Arnold’s to design the new label for their Arnold’s 1861 Porter brewed by Christian Moerlein Brewing Company. Along with the print, there will be a tshirt and a hand crafted tap by the very talented Kevin Neltner with laser engraving by Such and Such. Festivities begin at 6pm tomorrow, Friday, March 22. Be sure to swing by and have a pint!
I have teamed up with Mr. Keith Neltner to release a brand new print called “I Love Mountains”. The print which we are releasing Thursday, November 29 is a 22×15, 3 color screenprint and printed on Coventry Rag 290 gsm 100% cotton. These are signed and numbered by both Keith and I and will be limited to an edition of 50. Our friends over at the BLDG did an outstanding screen printing these. As always, both of these were printed by our friends over at the BLDG and are signed and numbered with a limited edition of 55. They go up for sale tomorrow, July 27, 2012 and are $30 each or $50 for the pair.
I’m a little slow in posting this, but I was very honored to be a part of Mondo Gallery’s Adventure Time show in Austin Texas a few weeks ago. Mondo invited me to create an original painting for the show and I couldn’t have been more excited. My painting entitled “Jake” is acrylic on 18×24, Birch wood panel.
Mondo assembled quite an excellent crew of artists and all the pieces for the show are outstanding. You can check out a few pics along with everyones piece over on Mondo’s blog. If you have any interest in purchasing “Jake” or another piece from the show, you can do so in their store. The show wraps May 26th, so if you happen to be in Austin, swing by Mondo and check it out!
I’m not 100% positive, but I think somebody would really like to play a game of fetch. One game and I’m pretty sure he’d be your BFF. “Dog” is my latest print and I’m very excited to be releasing this ‘lil guy tomorrow. Printed by the BLDG, this 18×14, 5 color screenprint is printed on Stonehenge Cream 250 gsm and has a signed and numbered edition of 55.
It’s been about a year and a half in the making, but I’m very excited to introduce to you Nedi the Yeti, my new iPad app I created along with the help of Lee Calloway. An interactive childrens book made specifically for the iPad, you can now purchase Nedi in the iTunes store here. Help Nedi play hide and seek with his friends. Designed for children ages 2 and up, Nedi features tilt activated parallax scrolling backgrounds and characters that animate when touched. Below are a few screenshots from the app.
Also to celebrate the release of the app I will be releasing a new print entitled, you guessed it, “Nedi the Yeti”. This new print featuring Nedi is an 11×14, 4 color screenprint and printed on Coventry Rag 290 gsm 100% cotton. Signed and numbered and limited to an edition of 100, “Nedi the Yeti” was printed by hand over at the BLDG. These go up for sale this Monday, February 27, 2012.
“Prayer” is my contribution to The Kentucky Struts’ year long project Year of the Horse. A band based out of Cold Spring, Kentucky, The Kentucky Struts released one song a month in 2011 along with artwork created by an artist’s interpretation of that song. I was paired with December’s song “Prayer”, and am very honored to be a part of such an inspiring project.
Be sure to check out Year of the Horse on their website and pick up a copy of their album. Not only do you get an excellent collection of songs and feel good about supporting local music, but you’ll also be happy to know that your purchase helps horse rescue as a portion of the sales go to Speak Up For Horses.
